Founder: Blessed Marie Rivier

- December 19, 1768: Born Montpezat, France.
- November 21, 1796: Founded Sisters of the Presentation of Mary.
- February 3, 1838: Died at age 69.
- 1982: Beatified by Pope John Paul II.
Kenmei Academy was founded in 1954 based on the educational philosophy of the Blessed Marie Rivier.
Sisters who inherited the founder’s love for teaching crossed the seas to carry out missionary work and educational activities throughout the world.
Today, sister schools in 18 countries around the world are educating students under the same philosophy as our school.
Environment
Kenmei Academy is a mission school located on quiet hill near the town’s ancient burial mound, which provides an ideal calm learning environment.
